Chaya's Note
I know I'm not the only one who struggled with this message; knowing that I truly belonged here. It's a message I can't wait to ingrain in my children. And I make sure to share this message with all my nieces and nephews. Perhaps one day, I'll write a book myself on the topic, but in the meantime, this book was beautiful. Not only does it have an exceptionally beautiful and important message, but I love the vocabulary it's teaching as well. It's no wonder this book has received a Gold Medal!
Here's an excerpt: "The stars belong in the deep night sky, and the moon belongs there too, and the winds belong in each place they blow by, and I belong here with you."
Do you feel that in your heart? It's the sweetest.
